So good to see things brighten up around here! I love the contest idea, but mostly running out of things to say as much of the art around here is truly great! About that critique poll, I personally like having my images critiqued regardless if someone says good things or hey that needs some work. I think most of us would say the same thing. The only thing I can't stand is malicious people who just want to say mean things. I guess it's all about intention. Are you trying to help or give advice, or are you full of yourself and just want to be an ass? I haven't seen anyone on this sight who was malicious, but I have encounted these types of idiots other places, and those I could really do without.
I owe someone a huge THANK YOU, but I have no idea who they are! But if you are reading this, you know who you are and I just want to thank you kindly for the support! I will try not to let you down!

I agree with you Becka. I like to have comments & critiques on mine. That is what helps me learn. I do think people have to be considerate when leaving comments & critiques. I always try to mention a positive when I mention a negative in someones image. I don't critique too often on images because I guess I feel that I really don't know enough to be telling someone else how they should be doing things:)
