A PLACE TO SELL OUR WARES

I know hands are full at the moment, but is there a possibility of a part of Artalyst we will be able to take orders for our work. I would like to take orders from here but do my own printing and shipping. I would have no objection to giving a percentage of what I sold back to Artalyst as long as it wasnt as crazy as Ebay or some of the other sites. For instance using my own paypal account here to take the payments, orders, ect, but agreeing that a certain percentage go directly to the Artalyst account as well. Say 20% or so. Just a suggestion. Paypal also charges me a fee so I need to be careful that I can actually make a profit in the end of it all. Thanks, Beck

Good idea Becca. Might be more of a hassle than Zee wants, but I'll let him answer that. I'd like a feature like that too. Or maybe if it was a level of membership that you pay a monthly or yearly fee for?

I would definitely be willing to pay the money for the level - as long as I was in control of printing, shipping, ect. to my customers. I think the site will have a huge volume of traffic enough to warrant this idea as well. I know that everyone I come in to contact with that is an artist or interested in art is immediately informed of the site by me. If everyone informs someone of the site, plus the exposure it already gets at worth1000.com and such, I think it has huge potential. I have seen so many great images here that would sell very well in my opinion. There are a few that I want to buy myself. My main concern would be keeping it cheaper than ebay and maintaing control of what goes out to my customers. Just some more to ponder. Beck
