New image thumbnails

Firstly..the new site is looking great :), well done Zee.
I would love to see an automated option of choosing a thumbnail for the two thumbnail options from my original full size image when submitting an image, rather than having to take my image into PS to create both thumbs.
No ads here, because the site is supported by members. They make donations to keep the site running, and we give them as many nifty perks as we can think of.
For just $3 a month. You know you can pay more than that for a cup of coffee?!?!

I had something setup that used java to draw a box on-screen where you wanted the crop to happen, but it really adds a lot of extra files to the site, taking up more space. I will look into giving an option to auto thumbnail generation. It shouldn't take up more space than we use now but it will be more coding time.

Pity the java box was too big on files for the site. It sounds just like I was thinking, as an artist you will want control of the position of the crop for the thumb and preview image to best show your image in each size. An automated system may not do an image justice! But I do think it will be an option that some people may prefer.
Myself...I would prefer to choose the position of the crop, even if that means doing it on my side first.
Yeah, I would really like to have the java box crop for the site myself. I'll try to see if I can find a way to make it more efficient. Lets cross our fingers.
