Changes to General Gallery

I made a couple of changes today to the "General Gallery".
1. The top 6 preview images will now show the latest images, but ranked by the least amount of (views today). And of course it will only show images that have the 260x170 preview thumbnail added. Many of your old images don't have this yet, you may want to edit your images and add one. You can go to My Images and you can see which ones don't have a preview thumbnail yet.
The reason I did this was to get more views on past images (because we have a lot of great images), and keep fresh images on the page rather than let it remain static until someone uploads an image again.
Below, you can still see the lastest images (small thumbnails) submitted in order of the time they were submitted.
2. I added the title of the picture and the artist name in the tooltip text that shows up when you hover over an image.
Both of these changes were made for better search engine optimization and I've got a big ad campaign right now directed at that page.
No ads here, because the site is supported by members. They make donations to keep the site running, and we give them as many nifty perks as we can think of.
For just $3 a month. You know you can pay more than that for a cup of coffee?!?!

I noticed the changes right away. I like the way it looks. And because of need for preview images, I can sort of control what I don't want others too find too easily. LOL!
Heh, you will also have an option to choose which images show in your portfolio or not... as soon as I turn all that on. And members will be able to fully customize their portfolio.

This seems to be working out great. EVERY image that has a preview image is getting multiple views per day. From most recent images all the way back to the very first images.
It appears that the preview images are rotating or cycling through multiple times based on the way that I have it sorted and ranked. Didn't think it would work that way, but I'm glad for the result.
