Promotion Thread

I've been trying to promote the site lately. I'll tell you the worst way to do it. Buy advertising, complete waste of money. I think the best way is the old fashion way. A grass roots social networking. I've starting writing articles for other publications. This helps get the word out without being all spammy. If others can help spread the work, I think we can grow pretty quickly.

I've made a list of things that can help spread the word about Artalyst.
If anyone is interested in helping out, these things should be really easy.

(1) I published the Chroma Key Techniques article on Squidoo but they won't publish one unless some conditions are met, namely, traffic and rating. If everyone could visit this link and rate the article, it will help it get publish. Published, hundreds of thousands of people would be able to see the article.

(2) Stubleupon gives us good traffic periodically. If there are any members of stubleupon, please add more of our pages and rate them. If you're not a stumbler, sign up, it's free.

(3) Links links links. The more links back to Artalyst, the better we are indexed in search engines. Put links to your Artalyst Portfolio in your Signatures at other sites, or post links to our articles or tutorials, or really cool pictures that you think others might like to see.
