What is the Featured Gallery?

The Featured Gallery is the premium Art Gallery and a good way to let all the new visitors to the site see the best images that Artalyst has to offer. Plus, its a great way for other artist on the site to set goals for themselves.

How do I get my Images included in the Featured Gallery?

When you submit any image to Artalyst, it is displayed in the General Gallery. From there, Artalyst has secret judges that can nominate your image to be included into the Featured Gallery. When you receive enough nominations, your image is included in the Featured Gallery.

What is this about Secret Judges?

Judges are carefully selected, and rotated on a regular basis. The judges nominate images from the General Gallery to be upgraded to the Featured Gallery. Judges can only nominate an image once. Once a preset number of nominations is reached on an image, it is included in the Featured Gallery. So if your image isn't there yet, it may be sooner or later. Judges come and go.

What happens when my Image gets Featured?

Already, those who have a Membership are awarded 10 extra userpoints and a special badge for getting their image in the Featured Gallery. The more images you get in the Featured Gallery, and depending on the image category, the more site perks you'll get, like changing the way your comments look on the site. Others will see your awesomeness everytime you make a comment on the site.
