I don't think I ahve ever seen a picture of a broken egg shell. Inventive to say the least. Since you were in a controlled environment I think you should have stopped down enough to get all pieces and parts in good focus. As it is you have a lot of shell not in sharp focus. This could be due to compression? Very intersting and definitely inventive. Los

Thanks for the comment. I agree with you, the whole thing looks a bit fuzzy. The image was shot with a 100 mm macro lens at f20. The original looks sharper from front to back.
