Los. I like the erie simplicity of this. I was browsing the net the other day and came across someone attempting this. but I think you hit it right on by keeping the contrast down, it makes it look "heavenly" in a way.

Thanks guys. This is actually a combination of effects. One I did what is called a gausian overlay and then desaturated the background below the overlay with a macro that I wrote which is actually pretty high contrast. This technique creates this overall softness. I like it.
