Hi Chuck, very nice image. What, about 1-2 seconds? As you know I love shots
of water, especially long exposure shots. Although this is a nice shot, it's
just exactly that. A nice, long exposure shot of a small river. What we are
really lacking is context and setting. I personally like either really close,
almost macro type shots or wider shots with more surroundings to give
context. Although I am guessing that this is about as much context as you
could probably get here at this location. I'll continue on the other... ;)
Los, thanks for taking the time, and my deepest apologies for not responding
sooner. I've gotten a bit burned out on photo and art sites of late. So much
so that I let several subscription sites lapse. Too much time on forums and
not enough time actually shooting and learning better post processing
technique. You are correct, this would have been tough to get with more
context. As I hiked up the mountain, I would pop out on the rocks from time
to time and observe. This shot was one that had that "something" I liked. I
think I used 3 stops of ND filters to get it down to a 1 sec. shutter.

For just $3 a month. You know you can pay more than that for a cup of coffee?!?!
