Without looking at the description my immediate reaction was the stress that this conveyed. Even after reading the description, I still see it as a commentary on overwhelming workload. Nicely done!
The zoom was added after in ps, I took the image with the intention of adding the zoom blur later to enhance the feel of the shot.
I nearly killed myself for this shot, I never locked the steps/ladder together and they collapsed while I was at the top looking down, thankfully I saved the camera and only had a few bruises, the things we do for an image :)
I admit, I was wondering this same thing. I knew you must have climbed up high or a mirror on the ceiling. But surely you don't have a mirror on the ceiling ;-)
Well, it looks like my desk at work and is never ending of course! :) Yes, I feel the tension. I am glad the camera survived and you will only minor bruises!

Ah this is great! The zoom motion and angle really add to the tension and the b/w keeps the focus on the mood.
