Critique:
I would like an extensive critique of my image please.

They're not really cold, it's a backdrop!

I like the composition of the man and woman, nice touch getting them to wear their warmer clothes to match the back drop. I am not sold totally on the backdrop due to the difference in lighting from the models and what it would be if they were outside in the snow. That said, it seems to your intention especially with the naming of the image. I thing it makes for an interesting alternative to you normal backdrops :)

Zeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

I think to fully pull it off you needed to get them to look at the same thing, the guy seems to have his eyes on something, the lass is kinda gazing. It took me a while to see the separation of her dark reddish top and his jacket, until I had that tuned in my head I sort of saw a Siamese twin (More Zapod Beeblebrox if you catch my drift) figure.

I like the idea, the lighting difference is quite a big ask to cope with, but obviously your was your intention, but it does look like one image dropped onto another, I'm also a bit confused by the different catch lights in their eyes, maybe I digress, prolly has all to do with some laws of physics or an 'ology of some sort........ Does it work? The answer to that entirely lies with the couple, do they like it?

On the portrait front, the lighting looks pretty good, it's a tad unfortunate the hair shadow follows the ladies jaw bone...... but hey, nits and picking spring to mind.

The lighting on the back drop is very even, how many lights have you got going on?

You both are so very right, the lighting is bonkers. I did this winter about 3 years ago. I had about 6 lights going but lousy reflectors. My first little studio I set up in a spare bedroom. I didn't even realize my fill light was casting a shadow until I saw it in post-processing. That's how we learn right?

Friends and family love it because they don't notice these things, but the colors make me happy inside.

Also, I'm BIG Douglas Adams fan!
