I love the effect. Its a "busy" peice of work that works well visually. Abstract, but just enough recognizable elements to add interest and a little bit of mystery.

I've been staring at this for too long trying to figure out how you did it. I need to get back to work.
I love the colors though, great!

It looks like water that had a rock thrown in it. Really beautiful. I definitely agree with Timeload

Children discovering.
I think it is perfect.

Great stuff! Reflection of a painting in a puddle? Small pond? Definitely looks like a reflection in water of some sort.

Great colors man! I don't know how you did this but I like your creativity. You... muy creativa!

Wow, gives an awesome impressionistic effect. It looks like a photo shot through rough glass, but you said it's on painted medium, I can't figure out how it's done but it's excellent.

Did you use a shelac on top?

jimt's picture

must be a reflection, but how can it be laid on a painted surface w/out photoshop?

Dear fs3rd, a puddle?
any way one of my philosophical problems, at a certain point of my life was: "how can I carry with me a puddle?"
I will tell this story in the next days.

Bye

jimt's picture

Oh, I think you're saying that you've painted some clear resin on a piece of glass and shot a photo through it. That's what it looks like to me anyway.

Ah, I'm beginning to see... painted the resin and let it sag as it dried?

Shelac is a clear coating. It is poured on & then hardens as it dries.

So creative! It is a really beautiful piece!
