Greetings dollyllama,
I like that you have included a person in the image as it immediately helps me to form the beginning of story. Your person is placed in a good area of the frame and forms a pleasant diagonal with the moon.
The inclusion of a boat makes me wonder if this is a world like ours. The lighting on the rocks is quite good on the right side of the shot, very pretty and delicate.
On the left side of the rocks I like that the lighting fades, and my only thought here is that perhaps it fades a bit too much as most of the detail in the rock is gone. Maybe a middle ground there.
The one area that draws too much of my attention is the very large circle right above the person. I am guessing maybe some kind of a sun. It seems too large for the rest of the picture and I think it would be more effective - just a bit smaller. Also, in terms of the composition it seems a little out of place. For example, your moon, boat and person almost form a triangle which is pleasing. The larger circle does not seem connected to the rest of the image on a compositional level. I like the canvas texture as applied but might have backed off on it just a little.
Overall an intriguing photo with lots to look at, and many stories to form.
