Deathly Attention
Critique:
I would like a critique of my image, but please be nice. Again, my beginner stuff! Magnolia Cemetery Augusta, Ga Several of these statues were so AMAZING. They were so life like and expected to see them blink or turn their heads.... love Victoria cemeteries!
Again, I look forward to the feedback.

Neat, the statue does look like it's staring at your.
The angle/composition is really good here. It seems a bit overcast, which really adds to this. Very beautiful for one of your firsts!
Nice composition! You might have enhanced it some by blurring the background more. Also, a technique that works well in these flat lighting situations is to use a remote flash to the side with a warming filter on the flash. It gives the effect of having late afternoon light on the subject while the background remains muted.
I was looking forward to taking pics in this cemetery, but was with friends so I'll admit I didn't have the time for it -big group and we were all over the place there. Thank you very much for the advice...since I am a newb! :-)
