she actually does not care for 'Manga"..she teachs art to kids 1st thru 5th grade including art history..many of the kids draw manga when she is trying to get them to draw realistic..
but she does like the photo manipulation..too old i guess, we grew up with Bugs Bunny and Bosco.

I like manga, I should probably upload a few I did, thinking about it. I like this but I think you need to redo the portion where the mouth is as that section if very soft and un-noisy, while the rest of the image has lots of noise and texture. I would also suggest defining the chin a bit and making the neck a bit thinner to get more of a delicate feel. Cool work though, and these are definitely fun to do
