I've also held off on the regular featured artists for a little while until we get more traffic again. Logistically, you're seeing less people now because I'm not advertising at the moment. But we still have plenty of people here to keep up participation. I've been saving up money (instead of advertising) to have the final additions to the site coded. At that time I plan on shifting funds into a sizable advertising event. Working with other art sites to form an advertising ring and so on.. The big thing though, is commenting on others' images. That is what encourages participation. No one wants to post an image here if there will be no one to comment on it. I'm making a promise to myself to comment on at least 5 images per day. If everyone here could post more comments, I think participation would skyrocket. Many people are subscribed to their images. Once they get a comment they will receive an email, and that's another person that comes back to the site. They see some images that they like and comment on them. --- But don't worry, I haven't stopped working on the site. And once I have gotten the site all of the features that I think will make it unique, then we will focus on advertising and getting more new faces here. Along with giving an incentive to participate.
