So here I am sitting at my computer when I should be driving to work posting about something that just happened to me.

I got ready this morning, ate and walked out the door to go to work. I get down to my car (I have to park on the street because I don't have storage room and I have to use my little tiny garage for that). I open the driver side door and everything is wrong. The dash is totally jacked up. Someone took a crowbar to the dash to get the head unit of the stereo out and they broke in the small window in the back. This is the second time my car has been burglarized (not in the same location mind you) this year. I'm just sitting here waiting for the sheriff to show up and make a report. Apparently 2 other cars within a block got hit last night too. I hope it's drivable...

This comes right when I really don't need this kind of crap. I'm about to buy a house and have a couple things I have to pay off/down so that I can. My GF and I are having a baby in February too.

ARRRRGGGGHHH!!! Is life never simple?

So anyone in the Denver area need a second shooter? I need some cash. LOL

It's great to know that after 26 years of paying various forms of auto insurance I get no coverage for this at all.

As an update, not that anyone cares, the sheriff's came, checked everything out, took statements and told me not to touch my car, they would be back later to dust it for prints.

I tried to start it and finally the alarm went off but it wouldn't start. I'm so screwed.

Los, Sorry to hear this. It seems to be happening all over. My friend that I fish with lives in a very upscale neighborhood, and never had a problem. But 2 days ago 6 cars on his street got hit. He was lucky, but the others weren't. Getting bad everywhere.

The Winds of Time shall pass us by, and leave us, in the darkness

Man that really sucks. Its been a lot of years since one of my cars was broken into, but I know what you're dealing with. One time the thief was so clever he not only neatly cut the wires and left me slack to install a new head unit, he replaced the bracket that I needed. The other day, some morons in my area busted the windows out of about 30 cars at a park & ride lot. I hope they get the little bastards that hit yours.
