So here I am thinking that Artalyst is gone forever, only to be doing some SEO one day and I find that an Artalyst page with my name on it pops up in the ratings. I click on it and boom, there is Artalyst. Now some of you may be thinking "So?" Well maybe a year ago the site went down and didn't come back up for what seemed forever. So I thought that since it had become stagnant and people had stopped posting that Zee gave up and let Artalyst slide into obscurity. It seems I was wrong.

So, in between the apparent disappearance and now I have gone from a day job Joe to running my own business full time. Nothing like getting a kick in the ass to get one going sometimes. I have some studio space, very cool studio space I might add. A local well established portrait photographer is sub-leasing me time in her studio. It's in downtown Denver in a place called the Taxi Building. Why? Because it was the Yellow Cad building years ago and was converted into artist spaces about 6 years ago. I've also been doing weddings and expanding into sports shooting, mainly focusing on the T & I instead of the action, since quite honestly, that is where the money is.

Also, my son Gabriel just turned 1 today. He is one cute kid. We had a birthday party for him yesterday which was a good time.
