New Site Admin

I wanted to let everyone know that I have gotten a new admin for the site, Folly. I've been busy coding the new additions and haven't really had time to keep the community energized like I should.

I'll still be here but Folly will the community representative. Everything anyone could want in a part-time job :-)

Yeah!!!!! You have no idea how excited I am!!!!!! I have never stopped popping in to Artalyst in hopes of finding a sigh of life. I have never found a site that compares to Art. Welcome Folly!

Folly is doing a great job! I haven't been to Artalyst in a very long time. Her comment on a picture I posted years ago brought me back to see what's happening. I'll try to become active again! I second the motion for the raise!

Looking back at the work I have here on artalyst I can see how much my photography has grown and changed.

Well, Folly is Artalyst's first paid employee. And right now, that's a complete overhead expense, as are many other things. But this is important to the site. I don't want the site to ever grow stale again. With the addition of printing and contests, we'll be very busy I think. The role of volunteer admins has yet to be determined, I'm guessing once everything starts rolling we'll see where and what can be done. . The current admins are still welcomed of course, and I understand people come and go for personal reasons. And as I've promised since the beginning, those with membership now, will have free membership for life.

I wasn't sure at first but looking at this Art Guild stuff and the Contests, there will be lots of stuff to moderate.
