Update on Updates

No new updates in a while, so I wanted to let you know what's happening behind the scenes.

  • Working on putting the posted images by a user on their user page. This is not part of the portfolio system which will be much more extensive.
  • Working on the decorative skin for the site, this current one being the basic text version which will still be an option you can choose in your settings page.
  • Working out the logistics of the badge/title/promotion system before final coding. This would also include titles for appointed positions like admins and moderators.
  • Working out the logistics of the featured images criteria and how it will tie into the badge/title system.

also forgot to add... "Investigating" the possibility of letting users sell prints on the site.

I know I sure am looking forward to the new updates you're talking about. I would imagine everyone else is too.

Funny, I was just about to pop in a suggestion to include submitted images on the user page. Excellent additions! I can't wait. Thanks Zeedamam!

I'd love to have the option of a "Pic of the Day" being e-mailed to me... well, just the link, but whatever. I know that there are always a thousand "good" ideas that don't come to fruition when adding stuff to a site, but I thought that this one might be a good one to use as advertising. I know that I first found another photo site because someone forwarded an image to me from the site. Maybe the same will work here with an image of the day being sent out.
