this is a nice image but the sky's color seems too brilliant and distracting from the rest of the piece, it feels out of place.
Yeh, I know what you mean Anna, the sky is bright(which it was that day) but the island was in the shaddow of a cloud. I was on a small inflatable speed boat trip that day, we stopped while the guide told us a story about the lighthouse, then we were off. had to make the best of my two min stop :)
Actually, I love this image and the sky.. I've always felt like the sky felt like it was moving...high above, like sometimes when you see a movie.. and they show the progression of time by showing how the clouds have moved ..while everything is calmer below.. that is how this image feels to me. I personally love it.
