Ooh! This is wonderful to look at. Strong colors, good contrast, and simple effective composition. One might say that the pole (or what ever it is) would be more pleasing if it was angled to the right, but this offers a nice change in perspective and really complements the angles created by the colored stripes. I would only suggest two things: Clone out the dark spot in the lower right. It's on a different angle than the colored bands and sort of breaks the pattern. The other is really minor, clone out the two dirt spots in the aqua band toward the bottom of the shot.

I sure will try cloning out that black spot and the dirts. By the way, that's not that pole, it's the edge of the hammock, since it is rotated 90 degrees clockwise. Glad you like it though! Thanks for the comment! :-)

Nicely seen shot Carlo, you have got a knack for abstract images :)

I agree with Timelode on the bottom right hand corner needing cropped or cloned. You could try rotating the image anti-clockwise to get the pole to run from diagonal to diagonal, that would get rid of the gap at the bottom right.

Hey.. I still like it as it is though :)

Thanks. The "pole" is the edge of the hammock...the original image is rotated anti-clockwise, so it was my idea to rotate it as it is now. Maybe it was a bad idea after all, but I will have a good look at it again and see how it looks best! Thanks Kev...

Noooo! Please don't. That angle is the reason this is so good!
